End of Year 2025

In 2013, a group of friends, led by Brad Littlejohn, came together to consider how they could revitalize Protestants’ engagement with their own tradition. The Davenant Institute was born, and the following decade saw Davenant emerge as a leader in the movement to retrieve classical Protestantism. We are thrilled with the growing sense that we must look back in order to move forward.

We have come a long way, but there is still much to do. Davenant has always been committed to churches on the ground, seeking to bring “treasures old and new” to the pastors, students, teachers, and parishioners who face unprecedented challenges from all quarters. The confusion around human sexuality, technology, the appropriate relationship between church and state, and more has never been greater. The opportunity is great, and Davenant is positioned to partner with your community to bring the fresh breeze of ancient wisdom to bear on seemingly intractable problems.
